SinfulColor's SinfulShine with Gel Tech Nail Art Tutorial

SinfulColor's SinfulShine with Gel Tech Nail Art Tutorial

I was so excited when Influenster asked me to make a tutorial with my Nail Art. I will try and make this as easy as possible.

  1. Two different colors from the SinfulColor's SinfulShine line. I used the colors Break Away #1222 and Pragmatic #1220
  2. Painters tape - I found using scotch tape became a problem because it was too tacky and would ruin my base polish.
  3. Tooth pick - To apply the design.
  4. Paper Plate - I tend to be messy while painting my nails this way I don't ruin any surfaces like the counter or the table.

Apply your base color to all your nails. Here I used the lighter color Pragmatic #1220 for my base. Wait for them to completely dry before starting the next step.  Also if you apply thin coats and allow them to dry completely in between each coat it helps ensure your nails are dry before applying the tape.

After your nails are completely dry you apply the tape to each nail at a slight diagonal.  Make sure there are no air bubbles at the seam this way you are sure to get a cleaner line.

Take the darker polish I used the color Break Away #1222, and paint the visible part of your nail. I use about 2 coats for the lower half.

I found that for me my lines are crisp and clean if I remove the tape prior to the polish drying. This is just a personal preference.

Place a few drops of the nail polish on the plate. This is when you are going to use your tooth pick to to create the dots.

I tried to evenly place my dots but if it not perfect just think of it as a one of a kind master piece.

Next I flip my tooth pick around this way I don't run my colors together and I do the same thing with the opposite side.

At this point if your anything like me all you need to do is use some nail polish remover for the skin around your nails and your done.

SinfulShine From SinfulColors

SinfulShine From SinfulColors

First I would like to say I am a beginner to nail art but since Influenster had given me a bottle of SinfulShine from SinfulColors in the SunVoxBox complimentary for testing purposes   I have decided to give it a go. I have a 2 year daughter that loves to have her nails painted.

I love this polish it has brilliant shine that is 5x shinier then a patent leather shoe. SinfulColor's SinfulShine comes in 32 shades I have used many of these colors because Brilliant shine  vibrant colors and no need for a top coat is very addicting did I mention they are only $2.99 at Walgreen's for a limited time.

Here is my simple nail are tutorial.

All you need is two colors and painters tape.

What I did was pre-cut the painters tape into the size strips I needed. Why painters tape you ask? Well I decided that it is less tacky then scotch tape.

I applied the first color on all my nails. Wait for your first coat to dry completely before the next step.

Then I applied the tape diagonally on my nail.

Paint your nail it doesn't matter if you paint over the tape because it's just going to be taken right off. Now after trying this a few time i have decided its better to take the tape off while the paint is still wet. This way your lines stay smooth.

Voila its done. I recommend you clean up the skin around your nails with a little acetone to complete the look.

I have also tried a few various looks are here are a few pictures.

Colors I used are SinfulColors SinfulShine Banana Appeal and Break Away on the next two pictures.

The circles I used a drinking straw and just dipped it and used it like a stamp.

This is a first attempt to saran wrap nail art.

Here i tried doing the marbling with water.

As you can see in this picture there is beautiful shine without any top coat.

You can go to the SinfulColors SinfulShine web page to find out more information.

Dr. Scholl's® For Her High Heel Insoles

I am a stay at home mom, so flip flops are my go to daily shoe.  They are quick and easy.

Although I think it's important to dress up for date night with my husband, I tend to avoid my cute high heels because they usually hurt the balls of my feet as well as the arc of my foot.

It was as though Influenster was listening to my hearts  plea for help, and they made the SunKissed VoxBox  just for me.  **Disclaimer I was given Dr. Scholl's for Her High Heel Insoles complimentary for testing purposes.

After taking the high heels insoles for a few spins in my favorite heels, I have concluded that the fear of foot pain is gone because these actually work very well.

Here is the link to my Dr Scholl's catwalk Strut on twitter https://twitter.com/Weaverfreebies/status/352214483961257984

I love the soft gelly cushion in the arch that shifts the weight/pressure off my feet. These insoles are clear and practically invisible they are perfect for any  type of shoe strappy ones, open toed, sling back, slide ins, and any other kind of shoes that have a 2 inch heel.

They aren't too thick so it won't make your feet feel tight in your shoes.  No need to worry about these having an adhesive that will slime your soles or be too tacky to take them out I believe that these are made differently because I haven't run into these problems. They are easy to place in your shoes and easy to take them off.

If you would like to read more reviews from others who have tried them I recommend you read them at Influenster

You can also go to the Dr's Scholl's website and see what they have to say http://www.drscholls.com/products/HighHeelInsoles

You can purchase these online at Target.com CVS.com and Drugstore.com

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

I am apart of a fantastic community that gets to test products complimentary in exchange for product reviews. This community is called www.Influenster.com You can find them on facebook http://www.facebook.com/Influenster and on Twitter https://twitter.com/Influesnter Influenster.com is where you can go and find real reviews from real people.

I received the Sunkissed VoxBox a few weeks back giving me plenty of time to really test out Goody's Ouchless Ribbon Elastics I was a little leery at first when I saw these at the store. From the first glance I would have to say they look like they are too large and  wouldn' t have any strength to actually hold your hair in a simple pony tail. I also thought that they would be too large for my toddlers hair. Not to mention I thought they would slip out of my hair if I went jogging being that I have a lot of hair.

After putting Goody's Ouchless Ribbon Elastics to the test I have to say all of my prior judgments were completely  incorrect. I am greatful for the opportunity to try and test these because I would not otherwise have known how great these are. I tested these out on my squirmy toddler who hates when I take out her pony tails because other hair bands have pulled and snagged her hair. These Ouchless Ribbons Elastics look so cute in my daughters hair and there is no snagging no hair pulling and no sacrificing a secure hold on a little ones pony tail.

I have used a friend of mine as a hair model in exchange I gave her a Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastic because how else do you show your friends how great they are. You share the things you love or at least I do.

Every single Picture I have are all only using the Ouchless Ribbon Elastics. With the summer at hand it's nice to be able to pull up your hair and have a style. I love these ouchless ribbon elastics are cute and come in 5 great colors and only cost you between $3.99 - $4.99 you can find these stylish ouchless ribbon elastics just about everywhere but here's a couple links for you to check out on your own:

I have a very amateur video shot by my 10 year nephew giving instructions how to create the above look.

Here's a collage of my pictures. My favorite is that Goody hair on Twitter: https://twitter.com/GoodyHair Tweeted a picture with one of my hair styles in it.

Olay Fresh Effects

Olay Fresh Effects BB cream

I am a Proud member of www.Influenster.com Being apart of influenster you get perks like trying trying FULL sized products for free. I am recently reviewing a few products from the SunVoxBox program. Inside of this box I received a full size tube of Olay Fresh Effects.

Such an amazing product. Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream} skin perfecting tinted moisturizer with spf 15 retails for about $12.99, it comes in a 2.5 fluid ounce tube, and comes in 2 shades fair/light and light/medium.

What I love about Olay Fresh Effects BB cream is that you only need one color all year long this moisturizer is tinted and no colored so it only has to be basically matched to your skin type and being that is summer I have been spending a lot of time in the sun and my skin has been pertected and looking Fresh and Flawless with out a lot of makeup.

Olay Fresh Effects BB cream has 6 Benefits that helps with perfecting your skin
1. Refreshes
2. Brightens
3. Evens Tone
4. Hydrates
5. Smoothes
6. Protects

During the summer is if your anything like me, You try not to wear a lot of makeup and try to play up your natural beatuy not only cause we should love the skin we are in but because its just uncomfortable to wear makeup in the hot blazing sun while trying to have fun. Its truly one less thing to worry about your skin is hydrated, protected for harmful UV rays that ages us and could increase our risk of getting skin cancer, and i find my skin feeling soft and looking a little brighter after each use.

The Directions are simple as pie.
1. Apply liberally to your skin 15 mins before sun exposure
2. Re- Apply every 2 hours ( which is simple since its mostly a lotion it doesn't need a mirror to apply)

Here's a little bit about about Olay's history. I love how this unique lotion came about. It's actually a love story. A man named Graham Wulff saw that his wife Dinah was unhappy with the thick, waxy beauty creams of the times that came in shoe polish tins that only left her skin feeling greasy. This was not a very feminine feeling. So Dinah's husband wanted to create a beauty product that left her feeling moisturized feminine and beautiful.

Olay began their journey in the 1950's  and although the company was sold by the original creators it still hasn't lost the integrity and quality from which it has started.

This is just my view of the Fresh Effects and history. Go ahead and check out the website for your self www.olayfresheffects.com

If your interested in finding out where to purchase this go to  www.olayfresheffects.com or go to http://www.amazon.com

Now for the fun part. Here are some pictures I have taken with my Fresh Effects

Here is my before and after Picture.

I got a little silly with my pictures  but what i loved about it was getting a comment from Fresh Effects instagram account.

Olay is a brand my mother passed down to me and is a brand I can pass down to my daughter.

Use your Fresh Effects Poolside but remember to apply every 2 hours for maximum benefits. the awesome thing about this shade it that only one of those people in the pool need a lighter shade. :)

Take your Olay every where and stay protected from the suns harsh UV rays.

If your interested I also made a vine video of how easy my routine with fresh effects is.
